When looking our curriculum we try to make:
- All activities should be age, development and culturally sensitive appropriate.
- A variety of activities to allow the opportunity to develop cognitive and social skills , and independence.
- A flexible programme of events and activities to allow all children to have the opportunity to take part.
- There is time for the child to complete the tasks at their own pace.
- There is enough adult ratio to maintain separate activities for small groups to encourage more social interaction from quieter children.
- Outdoor play takes place on a daily basis, subject to adverse weather.
- The programme should be flexible and allow for quiet and noisy activities.
