Staff Development
Through effective practice and on-going training and development practitioners continuously improve their:
- Relationships with both children and adults
- Understanding of the individual and diverse ways that children learn and develop
- Knowledge and understanding in order to actively support and extend children’s learning in and across all areas and aspects of Learning and Development
- Practice in meeting all children’s needs, learning styles and interests
- Work with parents, carers and the wider community
- Work with other professionals within and beyond the setting
All of these approaches ensure that the EYFS meets the overearching aim
of improving outcomes and reflects that it is every child’s right
to grow up safe, healthy, enjoying and achieving , making a positive contribution,
and with economic well-being, the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum
is being used by all Nursery and Pre-schools settings nationwide, this provides
parents the knowledge that their children are gaining the same educational
programme wherever they attend Nursery or Pre-school in the country.
